”The hotel has a classic and stylish interior, original and respecting Yale university’s heritage. I loved it, as you feel part of Yale’s legacy. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was very limited, that’s the only minus.”

”A very good hotel centrally located in New Haven/Yale. The Yale area provided for a super beautiful evening/morning walk. Close to many restaurants as well. Hotel was extremely tidy, beds were comfy and breakfast was amazing - with a view! ”

”Great and clean hotel, however the flashing strobe light of the smoke alarm in the room and the night light mirror in the bathroom that does not turn off made it hard to sleep. When shared with the staff they just said that’s how it is. The number one priority should be good conditions for sleep.”

”Good: front desk agent was friendly, clean bed & towels, free continental breakfast. Bad: manager/owner should work on people skills. Theres a $4 parking fee but website said free. The room did not have bath towels, only hand & face towels. Waited for the elevators and other guest had to tell us it was broken. Went to tell the manager and he already knew. But didnt bother to tell us when we checked in. Everyone had to use stairs. Room was DIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sofa had stained all over. Pee...

”I wasn’t very pleased with the add-ons that they put onto my account for parking. When I made my reservations, parking was free and when I got there, it wasn’t. With no explanation they just tacked on parking.”

”Room wasn’t clean. Things were falling off the walls. Found clothes from previous person in the room. Rude staff (not all). Hot tub water was brown and green. Staff wouldn’t help us fix the wifi in our room for the tv. Staff told me tv in the lobby was broken when I came out to watch the soccer game but the tv was on every morning for breakfast.”

”The refrigerator in the room was very, very loud, it was hard to fall asleep with all the humming noise. The room was smelly. The toilet is too low, and also needs to use less water for flushing..I had to ask attendant to turn on machine to get water and juice, this should be on during the day as guests are arriving and leaving throught the day.”

”Stayed 6 nights. The room wasn’t serviced at all. I asked after 2nd night and was given towels and told that it would be serviced which did not happen. After 4th night I asked a different front desk employee which said they clean on a request only, which I requested but again did not happen. The front desk staff did give us towels but that was it. We did not eat in the room so there was no food trash or smell. It definitely is a pet friendly motel, there were dogs everywhere. The onsite...
