”We stayed on the third floor of the tower and had a perfect view of the ocean and sunrise. The balcony shielded the wind somewhat. The location of Shutters is perfect for walking or short drives to restaurants. We could see the Kitty Hawk memorial from the parking lot side of the property.”

”Great beach access for the money! Wright Bros. Monument is 2 blocks away but not walkable-- the highway can't be safely crossed on foot. Also, a car is necessary to get to restaurants and other places of interest, though they are near enough. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!”

”Our second visit here was just as nice as our first. We asked for a room change right away, which was granted with no issues. We had sporadic housekeeping, which we didn’t really understand. Not replacing towels is fine, but some days the beds were made and trash emptied and some days not. We ended up with overflowing trash cans & quite a mess. ”Our stay at Beach Rd Bed and Breakfast was amazing! The house is perfectly located across from the beach which provided amazing sunrise and sunset views! The Corolla room had a perfect private balcony and was the best spot for a short beach trip with my dog. The owners left out snacks for breakfast and happy hour which was the sweetest touch! A 10/10 experience!! ”

”This hotel was a nice find, excellent quality for the price. The building is a bit run down outside, but we were there off-season and it seemed there was a lot of maintenance going on. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. They even served a breakfast, which was adequate. The location is wonderful, right next to the beach!”

”I can’t say enough great things about this place. I booked three nights originally and ended up staying an extra night, the location is central to most places, stores, restaurants etc. It’s right on the beach, which I love.
There were breakfast snacks in the kitchen area every morning and happy hour at 4 every evening. Even with other visitors, we never heard them moving throughout the house so each suite has its privacy.
It was clean and all amenities were provided. I would recommend this...

”The property is very comfortable and convenient to pool and beach with children. Very clean and so quaint. The pool is great but had a few little places where the concrete was a little rough around the drain. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cottage. ”
