”Super friendly staff. Nice big room with comfy bed. Only thing missing was there was no plug sockets by the bed so had to charge my phone on the table by the mirror - meant I had to actually get out of bed to turn off my alarm and couldn’t scroll through my phone in bed while it was low on battery. ”We stayed for two nights in a junior suite, the hotel was clean and tidy, staff were all friendly and welcoming. The bar and cocktails were lovely. Unfortunately the dinner menu was not great so we ate out both nights and luckily there are many options for food and drink close by. We did have a problem with breakfast on the second day (food was burnt) we returned the plate and then got the wrong replacement food and still burnt, after raising with the restaurant manager it was refunded so no...

”We arrived to check in and told we would be staying in the sister hotel over the road . Had no problems with the hotel it was clean safe & quite as we were on the top floor . Considering it was between 2 busy bars we heard no noise at all . Very warm room & plug didn’t work in the bath but for £39 you can’t complain ! We opened the window & had showers . ”

”A lovely hotel and nice staff. Good location, not precisely in the heart of the city but very close. The general feeling was relaxed. The room was great and we only had positive things to say about the room and the tidiness of the hotel in general, but I must say that the breakfast could've been slightly better. That's the only thing that prevented me from giving a 5-star rating. Looking forward to my next visit anyway (hopefully with even better breakfast).”

”Based on my experience on last stay at Holiday Inn Jesmond I booked it also for my trip. The hotel is within short walk from the Metro so it was easy to come from the airport and also easy to head to the University. Stay at the hotel was good. The friendly staff helped me with adapter issues. ”

”Great hotel. Swimming facilities lovely. Grounds immaculate and even a wee play park for kids. Only thing that spoilt things slightly was the service in the Antler bar. Not enough staff on so service was slow. We ordered food just after 5pm and had to go and check where it was at 6.10pm. They said there was a problem with the printer and they had lost our order. Not ideal with a starving 3 year old but they did their best to rectify it, complimentary drinks and rushed the order through once...
