”Booked for guests visiting a local business. Always positive feedback.”

”We had a lovely stay at The Fleece. Great sized room with lovely view and great bathroom. The cleaner was lovely, helpful and efficient - tea tray had a great selection of drinks. The food at the hotel is delicious. Staff were all friendly. Great location and helpful to be able to park on site.”

”👌”

”Lovely old coaching inn and nice rooms too. It was lovely sat out in the forecourt having a drink undercover. My evening meal in pub was very nice , bit expensive and limited menu but tasted great. Breakfast was lovely and the Manager who was very friendly and I believe from Australia -and her assistant -were very helpful even allowing me to have it early as I had a show to get too. This was above and beyond and means I will definitely come back, Thank you”

”Beautiful and quiet hotel with a great atmosphere! The staff is amazing—super friendly and attentive. The pub is so cozy, and the food is great. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back! 10/10.”

”Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...

”Beautiful grounds and garden. Helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed, tasty breakfast. Only complaint, the front entrance is locked a little early for a Saturday evening, took 2 calls to get the entrance opened. But would recommend.”

”Have just spent a wonderful two nights at Sturdy Castle. Perfect location to explore the stunningly beautiful Cotswolds. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the reception and restaurant area was and how lovely the staff were. Offered option of breakfast and evening meal which we booked. The rooms were located at the back of the hotel ,so nice and quiet and spotlessly clean with everything that we needed. Dinner was lovely with friendly staff happy to talk through both the pub...

”Super team made me feel very welcome and were always available. Clean, comfortable room. Nice breakfast and plenty of parking”

”Very good stay, if you have a car. Without a car, no chance. Oxford city around 20min away. Clean, quite big room. Okay bed. Nothing special, but everyrhing worked. No restaurant. Breakfast was poor. No fridge. ”

”Very happy with everything”

”Old building with nice decor but dysfunctional as a hotel. No air conditioning, window doesn’t really open, shower leaks water on the floor, and bed was very bad. Avoid the kitchen.”

”Only stayed one night. Nice apartment, well stocked with everything we needed. Pretty surroundings.”
