”Stayed here for 10 nights. The staff were the most friendly hotel staff I've ever met! The people are really friendly, and will help you if you have any problems at all. For example, the WiFi I bought to use around the city didn't work at start, and Stefani was kind enough to actually call the company and sort it out for me, even though it took almost 15 minutes! The location is also great, it has a 24/7 7 Eleven just on the opposite side of the street, and it's right next to the Myeongdong...

”It was clean, good service, very safe with automatic door locks and codes, quiet. Only thing I give a minus, was noise during the night from bars and disco's close by - but all in all a lovely guesthouse for an affordable price.”

”Good quality for that price! All you need for your stay, bed was ok, there were enough bathrooms for all visitors, and breakfast was good compared to what I heard that Koreans usually have for breakfast (cereal, toast with butter, cheese and/or jam, coffee and tea).”

”We saved so much by staying at the Ryu Guest House instead of a Marriot or Holiday Inn. It was like apartment studio living abroad in Sinsadong, Gangnam, Seoul, SK. Everything was walking distance to Metro, Food, Groceries (CU Market), Bars (Kompact Record Bar), Coffee Houses (Milestone) and Garosugil (Trendy Area). We felt very safe as well. ”This hotel is all about the location. Perfectly situated right next to Seoul Station, so coming from the airport with AREX you only have to walk a minute. It's right outside. Also the Lotte outlets and Mart are right there. The staff was super helpful and kind, only one of them spoke english though, but it really wasn't an issue. I don't speak Korean but I was always somehow understood with some sign language. The room was small, but the toilet and bed were big in comparison. Room was decently...

”There are two Star Hostel nearby. One is real hostel with shared bathroom and toilet, another one is suite that comes with individual toilet and bathroom. Location is good which is just few mins walk from metro. Just be careful that if you are a female, you should walk together with a friend because there are few karaoke lounges out there. Also, it is located near Gwangjang Market, if you go to shopping area at dongdamen, you still need to walk by 15 mins. Room is basic, little bit dated but...

”Place was a little far from the subway exit. So be prepared to walk a bit. Blessing is that the exit from subway has escalator so you don’t have to carry the luggage up the stairs. The room is small like most comments. Though we used the space under the bed as storage to help free up some walking space. Only medium size towels and shower, hair, conditioner, toilet paper and tissue is provided. So if you need basic amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste, you would have to buy or bring them...

”I was really thrown by the desk staff not seeming to expect me, but they still gave me a room and quick tour of the amenities. The minimalist room was as I expected and suitable to my needs, though the bathroom could use a little cleaning/updating.
