”It’s very nice, if you can find it. On Sunday there are no buses into Poundbury so you have to walk through the development. There’s minimal signage and few people around to get directions. The B&B itself is quite nice and my room,#8, was quiet with a view for miles over the countryside. Ideal location to catch the local bus to Lyme Regis.”

”A friend and I went to Frome for a wedding, and staying at the Archangel was perfect. It was close to the wedding, shopping and Frome itself was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, the venue had a wonderful series of quiet rooms, eating areas and our room was wonderful. The steel and brass fittings and stone work were beautiful. My one piece of feedback would be for our room; it had narrow steps up to the room which I think would not work for anyone who had disabilities. If the room does...

”Suitable location for a country tour. THe Place seems to be a center for locals to gather for a meal and a pint. All in all decent but we had a crappy room built for midgets in the attic. The housekeeping should vacuum more than once a week I think. The carpets were filthy. Efficient professional service level by the staff.”

”Everything was great, the room, the food and the pub. The staff were friendly, polite and friendly. The only problem was the breakfast didn’t start until 8am which is a little late for a business traveller but amazing cooked to order breakfast. Will definitely come back.”

”A great quirky pub with basic but clean accommodation. Debbie was a wonderful hostess and Neville a fantastic cook. We ate in the carriage of a train which was absolutely fantastic. The food was superb. Stayed for 2 nights as we were visiting Cheddar Gorge. The locals made us feel really welcome and it was a real friendly atmosphere. Would certainly recommend the Inn for a stay.”
