”We had the best time staying at “Take the Bayt”. The house is decorated beautifully! We especially enjoyed the swings downstairs! I can’t say enough good things about this place! The owners were extremely welcoming, our neighbors were very friendly, and the boat house was a huge plus! This property is a gem in the BSL and we can’t wait to go back! ”

”Quirky, older home in shotgun configuration, if you’re ok with that this is a great place— ten minutes to the zoo, playground around the block, coffee shops nearby, short walk to Magazine St with lots of restaurants. Rouse’s grocery 3 blocks. Great for a family. Very responsive host. ”

”The home wasn't as close to the French Quarter as the listing stated & the neighborhood wasn't the greatest. The listing also did not state it was a multiple unit home. We stayed on the bottom half of the home & we could hear quite a bit of noise from the top portion of the home.”

”The home had a very welcoming and warm feeling. The bathroom was STACKED with different types of soaps and conditioners J. I. C. you forgot anything. There was sufficient toilet tissue to get you started. My only concern was the object that was flashing red, I didn't know if it was a motion sensor or a recording device. ”

”This was a nice place to stay. I traveled with 2 other ladies and we felt safe and at home. We did have an issue with the neighbor one night but the management team took care of it right away and it was 10:15 at night. Very responsive and very cordial! We were not used to the shotgun home, where rooms are not private but they had sound machines and other extra amenities to help make everything very doable and homey! Thank you for a great weekend away from home!”
