The idyllic market town of Helmsley is 7 miles away, with a fabulous selection of independent shops and eateries. You can also explore the town’s iconic, 900-year-old castle, and wander amongst the stunning floral displays of the walled garden. From Cawton, enjoy days out to the atmospheric ruins of Rievaulx Abbey, the family-friendly Flamingo Land, and the cathedral city of York (all within 20 miles).The beautiful stone cottage enjoys a rural setting adjacent to a working farm. Inside, the property has a country-cottage vibe, with traditional furniture, a neutral colour scheme, and an array of creature comforts to make your stay as relaxed as possible. From the hallway, head through to the light-filled lounge/diner, which has wooden floors, a roaring wood burner, and glass doors opening onto the patio area. Unwind here, after a day of exploring, watching a film on the Smart TV, playing board games or sharing family mealtimes around the dining table. The separate kitchen also has a breakfast table for informal dining, along with everything needed for a self-catering break. Rounding off the ground floor is an inviting king-size bedroom with an elegant bed and its own en-suite shower room. Upstairs, discover two further bedrooms (a king-size and a twin), both with calming decor for a good night’s sleep. A refreshing family bathroom completes the accommodation.Outside, enjoy an al fresco supper on the patio as you plan the following day’s activities.
