”Great staff! I decided to try out some hostels for this solo travel trip and I’ve come to the conclusion hostels aren’t really for me, but I would definitely stay at The Outpost again because of the staff. ”We traveled all over the Philippines and this was our best hotel. We had our own beautiful cottage, I was able to get a massage everyday, restaurant was very good and the staff so sweet. The entire property is so pretty and romantic. I would love to come back one day. I highly recommend this resort. ”

”Les chambres sont assez vieillottes et ont sérieusement besoin d’être rénovées. Au niveau restauration juste moyen. En revanche ce qui est super c’est l’emplacement de l’hôtel qui est sur une petite île au large de Coron qui vous évite le bruit et l’agitation du centre-ville. Une petite navette organise tous les jours à la demande le transfert à Coron City. Attention pas d’eau chaude ni air conditionné.”

”The stay here was spoiled by both Expedia.ca and the management of the hotel. I booked two rooms, same size and same date but was charged double for one of the rooms... on day 4 of our stay came back to room to get key and no key at front desk. Spare key found by staff who opened door and found cleaning staff sleeping soundly on my bed...not a joke joke but funny anyway ...”

”I like that this property is located just outside the chaos of town. The staff are all very friendly and courteous. Air conditioning worked wonderfully in our room. The free breakfast was a nice touch, albeit quite basic. The wifi, which was only available in the lobby, was basically non-existent. The shower had very little hot water. The room had a little bit of a run down vibe, but it was very spacious.”

”They didn't allow early check-in, reasoning out that they are fully booked. On a weekday. Also, the breakfast included supposedly is a plated cooked meal. But when we get there, it was just congee, bread, and coffee. You have to pay 150pesos for the plated cooked meal. Most of the staffs are not approachable. They never clean the room too.”

”The staff are friendly but need more confidence/ability to use English. If you have a Filipino in your group they will use Tagalog all the time. You can arrange your airport transfer and any tours with the staff, they are helpful with that. They know the town of Coron, and local area well. There were a couple of issues with the gents toilet seat and taps, which they weren't able to resolve in our week-long stay. Wi-Fi here is not great, but you don't go to Palawan to stay in all the...
