”Kitchen dirty and messy. Bad wifi. Bed matress covered by some plastic. The door and the airconditioner in the room had a lot of noise, especially diaturbing in the night! Friendly staff. Good shower. Location central, but it was A bit confusing to find it in the dark evening.”

”Because my wife was having Surgery at Wellington Hospital, the Motor Inn was a good choice. We were given the Accessability which meant easy parking right outside the door. Lovely owners & staff. We'd recommend this property!”

”It was a lovely stay. Stayed with my little family for 3 nights. The room was clean and had nice heating, the cleaners came in and gave us fresh towels and cleaned up a bit for us while we were out, it was nice. Was very close to the train station and could hear the train but wasn’t a bother to us, they provided earplugs if it was though! Our bedroom had the bathroom connected which was the shared bathroom between us all. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything from the floor above...

”I booked 3 nights, but ended up staying a week. Place is nice, clean, cosy, staff superfriendly, surroundings very beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped and there is lots of space. Dorm room was warm enough for me, I find most of the NZ hostels too cold on winter time. Moana Lodge is truly a home away from home and good place to stay if you need a break from busy Wellington. Only thing I wish to change is that they should have unlimited wi-fi., altough I did get as much those 1GB...
