”Could use some improvements. Always short towels in the pool, short towels and toilet paper in the rooms (we were with a team and pretty much everyone had the same issues). This hotel also uses the horrible half sized pillows and good luck getting extras. I asked twice and was told if they find some they would bring them to me, never did get them. Also the lighting is horrible, feels like an old Vegas hotel in the hallways and rooms. ”

”Their breakfast ends at 9:30 am, and since it was Sunday we slept in and missed it. It was disappointing to say the least. The room was nice, laminate floors on concrete bring slippers. Staff was kind and quick, and the room (107) was clean yet the second sink needed the tap replaced as it was leaking while in use. Got things wet. The beds were firm but not board like room 207 the last time I stayed over. Would I recommend for an overnight stay yes, longer stay nope.”

My first night was in a room that had a broken window that would not latch, ripped curtains, and peeling paint. The second room I had was also needing an refresh as had a slight smoke smell to it. ”We arrived late from the via train (4am and heavily delayed). The hotel accommodated us and were so helpful. We wanted to extend our stay and the hotel facilitated this with no problems whatsoever. Front desk staff were amazing. Sometimes vagrants wander into the hotel but the security is usually on the ball and sort the issue out. I would recommend this hotel.”

Edmonton's City Hall is the home of the municipal government of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Designed by Dub Architects, the building was completed in 1992. It was built to replace the former city hall after it had become outdated and expensive to operate. The building features two steel and glass pyramids, one 43 metres high (ground to peak), on top of a three-storey concrete structure. One pyramid provides natural light for the main atrium, the other for the council chambers. The building also features a 200-foot clock Friendship Tower topped with a set of 23-carillon bells. Located on the eastern edge of the financial district in Edmonton's downtown, the building is the main feature on Sir Winston Churchill Square.
