”Clean, comfortable hotel close to the railway station and town centre. I had a small room and the hotel were honest and said it was probably best suited to solo travellers or short stays. The room was big enough but the bathroom was tiny. Fine for solo travellers though. Very clean and comfortable. ”

”A very well set up room for us, for a last minute pick in Oban. Though not large, everything we needed was there, working, and comfy and quiet. We recc the Oban Inn, along the far edge of town near the waterfront, for great food and atmosphere. And the live caeli (sp?) music was really good. ”

”When arriving (earlier than check-in time), the landlord was welcoming us heartly and both booked rooms were ready to move in. Rooms were really clean and well equipped and lately renovated. Location perfect, 5 mins walk from centre of Oban. When leaving all went smoothly and the lovely owner pair was fairwelling us. I can recommend from all of my heart.”

”What a lovely place to stay! Darren and Karen are marvellous hosts, couldn't do enough to make our visit truly memorable. And the breakfasts were delicious, as well as superbly served. The view over the bay, and the local wildlife enjoying their breakfasts outside the window, added an extra charm ... Coupled to a superb restaurant at the hotel next door, not to mention the magnificent scenery and history of the area, we couldn't have found a more ideal place for a short holiday. ”
