”We absolutely loved Riu Guanacaste. We travelled March 28 - April 4 2026. 4 adults and 1 child. The resort was very clean everywhere you went - there was always staff cleaning the bathrooms, floors, restaurants. Pools were clean.

”The only thing nice about this place was the courtesy of the staff and the amazing view. Had room where caulk was put over mold and had cracked walls. AC didn’t work and asked twice to fix. Raccoons took housing above our room so they moved us to another room that had no hot water. You only get two towels in your room and mini bar is 2 waters and 1 beer. ”Comfortable quiet room with toiletries and a mini fridge. Free shuttle to the airport which was 5 minutes away. Nice pool area which could have used more lounge chairs. Large paved parking lot. Car rental kiosk right in the hotel lobby. ”

”It was a good two night stay. View is amazing!
Food is good, nothing extaordinary. A good get away by myself.
The music by the pool is pumping from 7am until very late at night and very loud. If want peace and quiet, this is not for you. People were partying and making noice until very late.”

”Great resort for families. Beach was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Pool was perfect for my kids, with three different shallow areas where they could play. The resort yacht tour was amazing and easily a highlight of the stay. We did the morning snorkel to Honeymoon Beach and it felt like a private tour. Easily accessible to see wildlife in nearby places. ”

”To big area, moving difficult despite the shuttle. Entering to Hotel difficult. Although we had reservation number in mobile phone the guards hesitated to let us enter the Hotel area. In the reseptiin they asked us a printed copy of out reservation, nyt how could we have it because i had booked Hotel with mobile phone. They claimed that now they have more paper work. Toi bad, it's their job. Any way it would not have helped them, it was in Finnish. Food was good. The wibration of neighbour rooms...
