”The family room worked well for our one-night stay in Bath. Weirdly, the room was equipped with towels and cups only for two guests. The spa is actually pretty nice in the hotel. It is also very well situated. ”

”A long weekend with my daughter in Bristol. We stayed in a Marriott hotel in London last month and now the Marriott hotels are my favourite place to stay. I love the scent in the foyer! I am tempted to buy it! The room wasn’t ready on our arrival despite it being after 10 pm, but the receptionist was very good and got it sorted in a reasonable time. ”

”A really nice hotel in the heart of Bristol. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and tidy rooms with air conditioning. Beds are a tiny bit small for two people but for a short stay this didn’t bother us! If we’re coming back to Bristol for a weekend getaway we will definitely come back! ”

”Really like our stay. Everything was clean, nice and quite luxurious. The front desk was accommodating and friendly. We thought the room was nice but a little on the small size. No room for any kind of luggage. Loved the bathroom. One problem that the hotel can’t be held responsible for was the very noisy crowd going by our room until after 2 am. It seemed like a younger crowd coming or going across the river. Kept us up. Loved the city. ”

”We really enjoyed our one night stay here and would definitely stay again. The bedroom was a good size, bed comfy and shower amazing. The only issue we had was that dirty dishes/trays and glasses which had been outside other rooms had not been moved all the time we were there from 5pm up to 10.15am next morning. Perhaps an oversight but not nice to see in such a grand hotel. ”

”Celtic Manor is a huge resort that is beautifully presented. We stayed in the Manor House which is lovely and full of charm albeit a little tired in places. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Adventure Golf is fun. We also had Sunday lunch at Rafters which was delicious, with great service and fantastic views. The car park is not too close to the Manor House and is quite pricey. Just a consideration not to deter you as all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. ”

”I had a great stay! The hotel building and atmosphere were truly amazing. The bedrooms from 12-17 got quite warm due to poor ventilation in the hallways, so that's something to be aware of. The gym was decent and the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi were a nice bonus. The breakfast was excellent, though the internet connection was a bit spotty. Despite a few minor issues, I would definitely stay here again.”

”I gave it 5 stars because the staff is very accommodating EXCEPT, there is no elevator and we had to haul 3 large suitcases, plus 3 carryons UP and DOWN the stairs. No help was offered. But, they are holding those same bags (long story) for us while we galavant around the UK ”
