”Would definitely recommend! Set in a stunning location, the view from the room was out of this world! Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was spotless and finished to a high standard and the bed was comfortable. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating, dinner was stunning and bar was very reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning was good too, wide choice of hot and cold breakfast items and an array of fruit juice, teas and coffees. If you are looking for somewhere to base yourself...

”We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Oban. Glad we spent atleast 2 days here as Oban was one of our favorite spots in Scotland. Very walkable to everything we did and very close to Lorne which was my wife’s favorite restaurant in the trip (was accordion night) hit up a lot of other restaurants and the views and scenery there are the best. Staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was delicious. Our room had a great view of the water. ”

”We arrived late and left relatively early the next morning, so we didn't have breakfast. (We had a peek into the dining area and it looked substantial.) When we arrived, there was someone to assist us, which was appreciated. The premises were very clean, and our room looked out onto the promenade. The decor is a little dated, but it's part of the charm. There's parking in front, and it's a quick walk to the centre of Oban. ”

”Magnifique maison écossaise. La décoration est vraiment incroyable. La chambre était décorée avec goût mais au delà de la chambre vous pourrez profiter de différents salons dont un avec un billard et un autre ouvert en soirée pour déguster un whisky (ou autre) dans une ambiance tout droit sortie d’un roman d’Agatha Christie. ”We had a lovely stay for just one night at The Airds Hotel. We were a bit late getting in and had to cancel an earlier dinner reservation because we were running behind. But the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy dinner in the restaurant. They also provided us a takeaway bag for breakfast as we had to check out early the next morning. The hotel room itself was very comfortable. The water in the shower gets scalding hot, BEWARE. There is a sign in the bathroom warning of this...

”This was a wonderful stay, especially if you wanted to be back away from the crowded areas. My map app took me to the wrong side, but theres a little sign up, so you at least know you're near the right place.
