”It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. I was worried about not having air conditioning but there was a fan in the room and when the windows were open it had a nice cross breeze so it wasn’t an issue. ”Nice service, extremely good location, but not a 4 star hotel. pictures in the webpages are not from the room were I stayed (especially bathroom wasn't so nice as in the pictures). ”Friendly staff, free parking, very comfortable room, we booked two rooms and we were given interlinking rooms without having to ask which was very thoughtful and appreciated. We had a notification the day before we arrived to say there would be no restaurant in the evening while we we're there. We ate lunch several times during our stay and along with breakfast the food was excellent. Side note: Hotel had been taken over by US veterans and their support for D-Day, the veterans were inspiring...
