”For a hostel, it was definitely one of the better ones...we had a private room and it was clean and comfortable. A big plus is that they have a good amount of restrooms/showers on each floor/hall, so you never had to wait long. Great dining area. Convenient to everything downtown. So it was actually very good for a hostel, I don't have any criticism of the hostel itself, I just didn't like being in downtown san diego....parking is an issue if you have a car, expect to pay $20 for overnight...

”Nice and relaxed hostel in the city centre. Stayed here with a friend in March 2016. Staff was very friendly and helpful, location was perfect and rooms were ok too, though I guess they can be hot in the summer as there was no air conditioning. Only negative thing is the noise coming from sirens and the bar downstairs, but earplugs help!”

”Stayed at a handful of hostels and this one's in a class of its own. Bunk beds are comfortable and private, with plenty of lockable storage underneath. The space is clean, warm, and genuinely well put together. Staff are friendly and they set the tone for the place. Taco Tuesday is not to be missed. Easy in and out, free parking just a block away. And the location speaks for itself.”
