”Great place for an overnight stay or two. Easy to find ample parking either on street or to the rear of the property. Great little place, decent clean and well kept. Room was comfortable and slept well. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and easy check in and out.”

”The room was very dark with only 2 bedside lights and a lamp on the dressing table. There was no central light which meant that we had to rely on daylight if we wanted to read or do anything like that. This was during the late spring so it must be really dark in the autumn/winter. The cooked breakfast was cold, as were the plates, and there wasn't much choice apart from this. For the first 2 mornings we were there, the coffee machine was out of order and teas and coffees were served in...

”The appartement itself was well appointed and very comfortable, but our experience was negatively affected by an incident in the parking area. We were approached by a male individual who we could not identify as either a guest or a member of management. He berated us for how we had parked, speaking in a rude and intimidating manner. Had there been an issue with our parking, a polite explanation would have been appreciated. Instead, the interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As...

”The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. However, the room let the experience down — the bed sheet was old and had iron burn marks, and the shower was dirty and electric kettle not well maintained. Overall, a mixed stay with great service and food, but improvements are needed in room cleanliness.”

”We found the Westerwood to be very charming. We used the spa facilities, watched the world cup game in the evening, and played a round of golf in the morning. Disappointing that we were never offered a scorecard from the pro shop, also be aware the course is pretty long and you need to pre-book a buggy! The course was lovely, well maintained and worth the hike!”

”We had the most amazing stay at this cosy, comfortable cabin surrounded by greenery. It was like living in a tree house. The birdsong was beautiful as were the sunsets and views of the night sky. The cabin was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for our week long stay, including parking. There is a log fire with plenty of wood for cold days but we were very lucky with the weather and had warm sunshine every day which made the cabin warm and cosy to come back to after days out....
