”Gorgeous hotel room right in the heart of Marlborough! We booked the room with the golden bath which was such a treat. The breakfast offering was very generous and the room had everything you could need (it would be helpful to have some bath products by the side of the bath, as the shower gel etc in the shower were attached to the wall which made it tricky). Otherwise 10/10!”

”In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though.”

”Hotel itself is tired and quite run down, needs a large scale renovation. Room was clean but as with wider hotel is very dated. Hotel breakfast was poor. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Easy and free parking was a good benefit. Easy to access location wise. ”

”The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, we really didn't like the Pub and Grill - small, crowded and very noisy - the football being shown on every vertical surface was embellished with loud and annoying music. We decided to eat in our room - which had its own contribution to add. The only way to order was via an app - which didn't work. As there are no phones in the rooms ( and no phone number provided to reach reception), I had to stand in the hallway to use one of the few...

”Great location, Great staff and lobby areas, Rooms were great, bathrooms a little tired. Pool area needed a lot of attention, the steam room was totally out of action and the fact there was a daily parking charge on top of the room charge was disapointing.”
