”There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. ”

”The accessible room i stayed in was clean and in great condition. Good quality bed linen and a choice of firm or soft pillows. Blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep.
The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly.
Breakfast choices were good. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy best ive had in a hotel. The food was lovely and fresh as well as hot.
Gluten free and oat milk were provided too. Choice of fruit juices and cereals too. Very clean.
Would definitely stay again and...

”The Duke Hotel is truly excellent. Fantastic rooms, nicely decorated with plenty of character and a fantastic shower and coffee machine. The food and service is exceptional. A truly fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended. ”

”The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price.”

”We stayed at The Churchill and really enjoyed our time here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-presented, making it easy for our family to relax after a day exploring the Cotswolds.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. It’s in a good location for visiting nearby attractions, and parking was easy and convenient. We also appreciated that it was quiet at night, so everyone got a good rest.

”Insgesamt sehr gepflegte und gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer. Leider war im Hinterhof vor unserem Fenster eine riesige Lüftung, vermutlich von der Küche, die alle 20 Minuten für einige Minuten ansprang, was in einem sonoren Brummen mündete. Für Lärmempfindliche daher eventuell weniger geeignet.”

”The hotel and its facilities are excellent and the staff were helpful and considerate throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable to stay in although it was a little warmer and stuffy at night. The air conditioning is a little noisy to leave when sleeping. Providing towelling robes was a nice touch but unfortunately both were a medium fit so although my partners fitted I being larger it was not suitable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

”Lovely hotel with very comfortable clean rooms with a spacious bathroom. Lots of snug areas to sit in and chill or read. Great breakfast in the morning with attentive staff. A very pleasant experience. Very central plenty of car parks around. Would definitely use again.”
