”Our host Lucy was most welcoming and helpful. Short walk into downtown Stratford. The property was extremely clean. I would say the room was small but the wonderful breakfast (the best we have had in our 2 and a half week stay in 7 different hotels in England) made up for that! The breakfast room was a cheery way to start the day too! Highly recommend!”

”A bit difficult to find the location if your not familiar with the area. Rest assured it is behind the main home and is really safe. The owners were attentive. Walkable to absolutely everything in Stratford and for us the train to go back to London. There was no dryer only drying racks. The space was immaculate. We would definitely stay again.”

”Loved our stay at The Arden. Dead opposite the RSC and just a couple of minutes from The Other Place where we went to ser MacBeth. Room was huge (superior room), great air con, a great and powerful shower and with nice tea, coffee and snacks. Only one poor thing was the breakfast. We paid 20 pounds each for a full english. My scrambled egg was sat in a pool of uncooked egg and the sausage was pretty tasteless. Recommend walking down the road to visit plenty of good cafes serving breakfast for...

”We loved this place. The room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, and there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was great, as was the staff. The carpet was pretty worn on the stairs and halls, but everything else was in pretty good shape. We did have to park in the NCP parking lot a few blocks away, but that was no problem. And the location was wonderful-- for most of the Shakespeare activities, for the market, for the theater, and for great restaurants and stores. We would stay there...

”Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property. ”

”A beautiful hotel in a great location... perfect for all the attractions Stratford has to offer. Yes there is a £7.00 charge for the parking but it wasn't a deal breaker for us.
