”I had mention to one of the staff we were at the hotel to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary and the HR Manger sent up a cheese tray a bottle of wine and a ballon! Over and above to make our stay wonderful!”

”The room was fantastic. We used the pool, bikes, and workout facility. Mase at the front desk delivered exceptional service. The bike path nearby was very nice. It was a great stay.”

”This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Welcoming staff, beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub; and my favorites, waffles and all day coffee!!! Brought the dog this time, he loved it too. Pet friendly but you’d never know there was a dog there before you. Very clean. Every member of the staff spoke to or greeted us every time we saw them. Very professional. We’ll be back again, hopefully soon.”

”Room was clean and mattress was comfortable. Strong smell of bleach in the bed linens. Staff was friendly unable to find at times. Pool was refreshing. Food was adequate. Parking a breeze. Female at bar on the evening was nice.”

”The property itself is very lovely and rich with history. It was peaceful to walk around and observe the beautiful oak trees. My room however had carpet with stains everywhere. I was surprised for the cost of the room that the carpet looked really dirty.”

”The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to The beach with easy access. We rented bikes from the hotel and the island bike trail Is right off the property . We spent alot of the time at the pool and there were ample chairs and umbrellas and the foliage around the pool takes the experience to a higher level Chairs are located outside the rooms and we sat outside with coffee in the morning and there was never sun beating down on us”

”Rooms have been renovated. Still not up to the major chains, but good for the rate.”

”This hotel was great. It was in a good location, able to walk to several restaurants and shops. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The nightly entertainment was fun. It says it has a designated smoking area, but it was lacking any place to sit. They also said you could smoke in the parking lot but there weren’t any ash trays. There should also be a trash bin in the pool area. Will stay here again.”

”Room was spacious, parking easy, staff was helpful in placing a welcome gift in the room, couldn't have been more convenient to the village, beach, playground and splash park..and the pool was very clean!”

”This is an outstanding hotel in a great location. The hotel is looks like new and the lobby is very spacious and attractive and the staff was especially helful and welcoming. Great fitness center! The room was among the best I've stayed in recently and I've recently traveled and stayed in San Francisco, Big Sky Montana, Jacksonville, Florida and 3 hotels in Switzerland. The kitchenette was the best! The desk area was large as well as the sitting area with couch. I'll be back!”

”Room was very clean is an old hotel but rooms are updated the bed was very soft and comfortable the hotel is right in the center of all the shops and restaurants no need to drive most things was in walking distance.”
