”Very steep stairs to climb the room was very stale had to open all the windows and let all the flys in the bathroom door kept sticking so it was best to leve it open the breakfast l can't moment on as I wated for 15 minutes for someone to take my order I got board I went somewhere else and had my breakfast when I got back anhour and a quarter later after having breakfast and a walk around the town the three people that sat down after me were still in there having their breakfast l was so...

”We stayed for a couple of nights, having breakfast & dinner twice. After a rather brusque check-in with a middle aged Asian gentleman (the owner?), we made our way to Room 10, a king sized room with an additional bed in a side room. As we had our Jack Russell with us, this may be a pet-friendly room. The bedroom was beautifully clean, and the beds comfortable. I think the bathroom had not long been fitted, and had a fabulous shower along with all the complimentary soaps/showergels/shampoos...

The carpet was dusty (or at least not cleaned/vacuum cleaned) since the previous customer, nor was it cleaned between our 2 nights stay. What was much worse; in the room there was a stark moldy smell that did not go off even as we kept the windows from both sides of the room open for 2 full days & nights. ”Room could have done with an easy chair but was good otherwise. Hotel seems to pick its staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. Not a bad one amongst them. Plenty of choice at breakfast though evening meals were limited as awaiting new cooling facilities. Plenty of parking at front and back of hotel. Hotel location ideal for getting into Gloucester. Very pleased overall and would definitely use again.”

”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located in a cute small town. There is a good car park and the hotelarea is beautiful. The room was OK size, but could use an update. The pub was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful :)”

”The hotel itself was clean, rooms and toilet room were a good size. Would have been more convenient if the rooms had little fridges in them. Bar and lounge area and the garden were nice areas to sit in. More ice at the bar would have been nicer as well. ”
