Don’t be fooled by the name. This is not Embassy Suites! Plus, make absolutely sure you are able to check in before 9 pm because though they claim late check in may be possible, if the owner of the APARTMENT does not want to deal with you, they will claim late check in is not available and consider you no show and not refund ANY part of your payment. She won’t even let us check in the next day! How is that allowed? Why would Expedia allow such ridiculous business to be advertised at their page. The issue arose because we were trying to surprise our friend with a prepaid lodging in Athens. But they insisted on their flight number. I provided a number I was given but it turned out to be incorrect. It wasn’t like we did it intentionally. When I suggested they will check in at 10 pm due to their arrival at 8 pm, she first said here was a charge. I said fine. When I then provided the correct number, she claimed that late check in was not available, at 9:30 pm that day! Had I known that she was going to simply take our full payment and not allow us to check in the next day, I would have personally met her to check in since I was already in Athens. She is clearly a mean spirited individual who at her whim decided that late check in is not available and consider us a no show and simply pocketed our full payment. I would encourage people to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!!!! Of all the time I’ve booked with Expedia, this was by far THE WORST!
