”We stayed one night in a 4th floor room in the Hepburn annexe. The room was tidy but by no means immaculate, having a few marks of wear and tear here and there. It was also uncomfortably warm, not benefiting from any air conditioning although a desk fan was provided. As it was a top floor room it possibly suffered worse from the suns rays on the buildings flat roof. It has been an exceptionally warm summer in the UK at over 30 degrees C for several days. ”There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking .
Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?”
