”Room is spacious and sparkling clean with nice view of the lake. It is an old building in traditional renovation. If you like the atmosphere of staying in an old English house you will definitely love it. We had a nice and quiet break from busy life there. Breakfast was nicely served. Close walking distance to hiking trail. It's a few minutes drive from town centre.”
”A lovely overnight stay at the Grange Country House. We received a lovely welcome from Michael, he was very informative and helped us to get settled in quickly. He gave us a tour and explanation of where everything was and about breakfast. The room was perfect, very clean and excellent condition. The breakfast was delicious the next morning and everyone that worked there was smiling and helpful. We will be staying again. ”

”Hotel as described. 10 minutes walk into Grasmere. Free parking, although I doubt enough if hotel at capacity. Bus stop outside. Breakfast was nice & plenty of options. We had dinner one evening and it was good & good value.

We decline one days room clean in exchange for a couple of free drinks, that was a nice idea and encoraged reuse of towels etc
