The Garden Edelweiss is located in a uniquely charming spot, above what was once the renowned Garden Bar Gelateria, a historic venue that helped define the identity of Barzio. During the golden age of Italian music, the Garden hosted icons such as Adriano Celentano and Mina, becoming a symbol of the Italian "dolce vita." Although the venue is now closed, its legacy lives on in the apartments above it, now available for short-term rentals thanks to the owners, Esmeralda and Leonardo.
Apartment Description
The Garden Edelweiss is a spacious attic apartment that can accommodate up to 4 people, making it ideal for families or small groups of friends. The spaces include:

A master bedroom
A bedroom with two single beds
A cozy living room with a fireplace
A well-equipped kitchenette
A bathroom with a shower

The highlight of the apartment is the large terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view of the Grigne mountain range. On request and subject to availability, a paid parking space can be added.

A set of 3 towels per person and bed linens for each bed, professionally cleaned

Total Residence Capacity
The Garden Edelweiss can be rented together with the other two apartments in the residence. Combined, they can host up to 17 guests, making it ideal for larger groups.

The apartment is located in the center of Barzio, just a short walk from bars, restaurants, shops, and services. It is also only a 1-minute walk from the free shuttle stop that takes you to the ski lift facilities, making it perfect for mountain enthusiasts.

The apartment is managed by Nativoo , a benefit corporation that integrates measurable and concrete sustainability goals into its rentals. The NativooForGood project promotes sustainable development for short-term rentals in the Lake Como and Valsassina areas, offering stays that respect the local territory and community.

Tourist tax: The municipality where you will be staying does not require the payment of a Tourist Tax.

Check-in: To receive the detailed instructions on how to reach the accommodation, it is necessary to complete the fast check-in procedure (guest registration, possible payment of the tourist tax, and contract signing).
The official check-in time is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Access to the accommodation outside this time frame is not permitted unless previously agreed in writing and subject to the payment of an early check-in or late check-in supplement.
