Welcome to “The Secret Garden”!
Nestled in a private area, this charming house is easily accessible by car and offers a quiet and private atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. We wanted to preserve every unique feature, including the choice to keep it as an environment with low technological impact, to offer you a peaceful escape. A few steps away you will find the famous bike path, ideal for walks or bike rides in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
This historic home has been lovingly renovated and lovingly furnished to offer you a unique experience in a rustic environment. On the ground floor you will find a living area with an open kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals with fresh ingredients purchased in a nearby farmhouse. The ground floor also includes a bathroom and a small closet, ideal for organizing your personal effects during your stay.
Upstairs you will find a romantic loft with a double bed under exposed wooden beams, which create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The real jewel of this house is the private garden, an oasis of tranquility where you can relax under the shade of the trees, organize outdoor lunches or read a book accompanied by birdsong. The garden also offers a private parking space on the lawn.
The rustic house is part of a farmhouse complex, which includes three apartments — Luna , Fieno and Girasole — all intended for short term rentals. Although the apartments share a large fenced space, each one is independent and has private outdoor spaces.
Here you will be totally immersed in nature. A few meters from the property there is the famous Valsassina cycle path, perfect for walking or cycling. Along the way you can:

Buy fresh produce at zero kilometers at the Il Frutteto della Valsassina farm shop
Taste cold cuts and cheeses at the Pratobuscante farmhouse
Visit Carozzi for a tasting of typical products
Play a game of mini-golf or walk to the Sprizzottolo waterfall
Try a horseback riding experience at the nearby riding school
Walk up to Barzio for the famous Friday market, enjoy La Baita specialties, or buy high-quality meat from Rigamonti.

A few notes before your arrival:

Digital Detox Experience: The house has no Wi-Fi or TV, by choice, to offer you the opportunity to disconnect and relax. However, if you need it, we can provide wi-fi on request.
Rustic charm: Although the house has been renovated, it remains an old stone dwelling. Its rustic character may not be suitable for everyone: don't be scared if you happen to encounter a curious spider coming from the surrounding nature or if during the rain you get your shoes dirty running on the grass.
Occasional Noise: The Pratobuscanto area , located just 500 meters away, occasionally hosts events that could generate some noise. Among the main ones are the Festival of Festivals in mid-August and the Country Festival at the end of September. This makes the home perfect for those who attend these events, while those looking for total tranquility may prefer other times of the year.
Heating: The house does not have central heating. During mid-seasons, we provide electric heaters to ensure a comfortable stay.

The apartment is managed by Nativoo, a benefit company that pursues measurable and concrete sustainability objectives in its statute. The apartment is part of the NativooForGood project that pursues sustainable development objectives for short rentals in the territory of Lake Como and Valsassina. City Tax: We remind you that at check-in you might have to pay the tourist city tax, according to the season Tourist tax: The municipality where you will be staying does not require the payment of a Tourist Tax. Check-in: Check-in at the property is allowed only after all guests have been registered and the contract has been signed. The standard check-in window is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; guests are kindly requested to send a message at least 12 hours in advance, specifying a 30-minute time slot for their expected arrival.  
For late check-in, availability must be confirmed by sending a request to the House Manager.  
Where available, guests may opt for self check-in; however, in this case, they must contact the property to arrange an in-person meeting within the following 24 hours.
