”I was really pleased with the accommodation, and found it really nice. I was dropped off, so did not require the parking which was directly outside and free. The room was comfortable, breakfast bits provided and the shower facilities although not ensuite were at hand and served me well. I would stay again.”

”Pleasant ground floor room with nice walkin shower. Toiletries provided. Hospitality tray well stocked with nice biscuits. Used restaurant at place very nice food. ”

”We checked in tge hotel we had a lovely stay staff was pleasant and polite and service excellent. Would stay here again.. Had both nice treatments again lovely staff receptionist explained everything to us .”

”Friendly staff, very nice room with coffee machine and complementary drinks in the fridge. We had nice dinner and breakfast in the pub, was convenient for us to stay one night in the area. The only downside was the sofa bed was not so comfortable and really squeaky! But the kids slept ok and we appreciated being able to stay with our 2 kids in the room.”

”I stayed in a refurbished room which was decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Check in / out was simple and quick. Sadly though, room was unbelievably hot - even with windows open and the provided fan. No shower - only a bath, which I didn't spot on booking. Made it tricky to wash hair, as bath doesn't have shower attachment or taps! ”

”The young lady who checked us in on Saturday 28th June was superb. Very professional and friendly and set a lovely tone to the start of our trip. The honesty bar, although we didn't use it, was a lovely touch and the garden was lovely to sit out in.”

”Very interesting arrangement of rooms, stairs and floors in this house. The room was clean and comfortable, but the shelf/hanging cabinet behind the door was unsteady. The entire place could use a little updating. It is convenient to the rail station, and quiet even though it's on a main road.”
