”The room was below standard. The shades were broken, the curtains were torn, and the shower handle was slightly broken. I've had better rooms in prior stays, but the attendant that checked me in, upon my arrival, chose to give me a dubpar room. Why, I'm not sure. I expect better at my next stay. Thank you”

”The staff was pleasant and helpful. The property is old with worn carpet and smells very musty/moldy. It is relatively clean. It provided a place to shower and sleep. I would not choose this place again. Would not recommend.”

”We ate breakfast off property it was not included in stay and the “bistro” was average. We made coffee in the room and the paper cup had a leak , went down to ask for a cup of coffee and I got handed more packages of coffee to make on my own. I also got handed a bottle of conditioner and body wash since ours was out. I did ask the cleaner if she would please put them in the holder for us. Also, Expedia noted there was self parking and Courtyard charged $10 a day. On the positive side the...

”Sonesta sold our room after I reserved and confirmed our room earlier that day. I told them exactly what time we would arrive, and they assured me all was good to go. When I arrived, rude man on phone wouldn’t open door and talked to me through phone (didn’t even see a face) and said manager quit, and when I asked name of person on phone he hung up on me, wouldn’t even open the door for me (even though I called back asking to talk to him about options) and called not one but THREE POLICE squad...

”Hotel is dated but not bad. Staff was nice friendly lady at the front counter. Weird smell in the lobby but not too bad. Took the elevator to the second floor where our room was and when the doors opened I was taken back by the suffocating smell of cigarettes and fried chicken. If we stayed two nights I probably would have picked up a can of febreeze and left it for them. Our room wasn’t bad, the couch was taped together and there was still a stale chicken/cigarette smell but it was manageable....

”Facility is nice, but there isn't much nearby except for a McDonald's. However, a 10 min. drive away is Avon Commons with a variety of food and shopping options. The biggest drawback is that the road access to the hotel is blocked at rush hour by drivers coming from the Avon Commons area who are trying to get on the freeway.”
