”Hotel was in a great location, situated at the top of High Street and very close to the G live. The room was spacious. The only complaint about the room was that the window was frosted and therefore we couldn’t see out. No idea whereabouts we were. Breakfast was good, but they had no bananas. Find the service of drinks quite slow, but on the whole the Hotel was great”

”First impressions, as you drive through a housing estate were not good, however, both rooms we had booked were very clean and had all we needed for a stop off to the airport. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've used in a while. I have paid double and had dirty rooms in Birmingham, Cambridge, Chester,York and London . Quite hotel all night even though it was full.”

”I loved my room at the very top of the hotel, it was very comfortable and had windows on both sides. I was told it was top floor without lifts, and I was fine with this. I loved all the paintings, antique furniture and knock knacks around the public areas, and there was real character to the place The reception staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. I felt completely safe and comfortable as a solo traveller. ”
