”Liked everything! Really nice location, Conic Hill and loch boat tour etc easily available. Very friendly service and room lacked only more wall hooks for towels, other than that perfect.”

”Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked. Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms.”

”Excellent hostel! I stayed in the Court - I’m a light sleeper and even with earplugs, I woke often as people were coming and going at all hours of the night. Disturbances would likely be less in the other rooms. The facilities, social aspect of the hostel and the staff were top notch! They have activities each day to connect you with others. As a solo traveller, it was incredible and more reason to stay in a hostel. Price was great for Edinburgh and the location cannot be beat!”

”Sympaattinen paikka kauniissa ympäristössä. Rauhallinen ja hiljainen huone.”

”Great”

”We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast.”

”Everything fine. No problems.”

”Not horrible for a night, but could be cleaner and better maintained. Consistent musty smell from hallway that lingers into the rooms.”

”Ended up not being able to visit and they refused to refund any of the money, even though they had a weak notice that we were not going to be able to attend. Horrible people to deal with extremely rude. Do not recommend.”

”This is a very historic hotel with lots of charm. If you want a modern, sterile hotel, don't stay here. If you like floors that have settled with age, friendly and interesting st aff, a great little pub with a good traditional breakfast, and steeped in the history of Scotland, this is a comfortable and safe hotel. I appreciated the value (cost and convenience) which made this stay affordable.”

”It was really difficult to unlock and open the doors, the locks were loose and the door handles were coming off. When we arrived and went into the bathroom there was a roll of toilet paper with poop on it. I went out to the hall and was able to find an open closet with toilet paper, but that was really gross to come into a room and see that. The television in one of our rooms did not work. The toilet in the other room would not flush. There was two minutes of warm water in the shower before...

”Great place to stay. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt, which was a unique experience, like glamping. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories.”

”Lovely room and very friendly staff. Breakfast was great!”
