”Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed ”

”The room was very clean and the property gorgeous. Windows in the room opened, which was necessary as there is not central air and the weather was warm. Owners were so friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and the views were spectacular.”

”The place is well located and that ends there. We arrived got shown the room and give the keys. No instructions at all. No big issue. Then we started to look around the room and realized it's not been cleaned for months. Unfortunately I cannot add smell to the review but it wasn't pleasant and full of dust. We found hair bands, used coffee package, loads of spiderwebs etc... and this is a space being used by different people... Absolutely disgusting. Thank God the bed sheets was clean. And then...

”Great location in the shores of Loch Ard with nice rooms and beautiful garden. Swimming pool and saunas are great after walking in the hills. Aberfoyle village nearby has grocery store and places to eat. ”

”Beautiful setting on loch side this hotel is in a suburb please ,the room was clean nice bathroom although very basic food was good but small menu . Very nice host very friendly lovely big Labrador. Place is tired and could do with some TLC but worth a visit . Dog friendly so nice to see this”

”This place was amazing. A cute little cottage tucked away privately. Received a lot of snow our first night and decided to walk down to the little in at the bottom of the Mountain for breakfast which was amazing. The hot tub and fire place were great. The host met us when we arrived. Directions were great but we weren’t sure we were in the right spot. ”

The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. Overall, it's a great place for people who want to escape soulless hotel chains and create sweet memories.”

”Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! Would def book again for a large group activity weekend!! ”
