Habe eine Bleibe für eine Nacht gesucht die zentral liegen, gute ÖV-Anbindung haben und zahlbar sein soll. Das alles hat das Hotel Waldhorn vollumfänglich erfüllt.

Goede ligging ten opzichte van het centrum van Bern. Te voet of met het openbaar vervoer. De kamer en badkamer zijn niet groot maar schoon en netjes. Het ontbijt was voldoende uitgebreid om een keuze te kunnen maken. Vriendelijke medewerkers maken het geheel compleet.

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave tips to allow free parking in the area. Room was stark, but nice and clean. Did not realize the room did not have air conditioning when booking for July. Temperature was fine with the fan and windows open, however we were woken up a few times due to loud noises in the street and kids yelling until midnight. Location was convenient and with the transportation card, very easy.

Parking was inside their hotel, immaculate rooms, receptionist spoke English and gave us free passes for bus service and advice about things to see in Bern. Friendliest receptionist we dealt with in Switzerland.

This hotel is not far from town center. Two stops by tram from town center, and less than 10 min from center. The hotel staff is very friendly. Hotel provides coffee and fruits in the hall. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nettes modernes City Hotel
Sehr netter Empfang, Parken interessant-es gibt einen Autolift in die etwas enge Garage gegen Gebühr. Die Lage ist großartig-nur 1 minute Gehweg zur Strassenbahn, welche in 2 Stationen im Zentrum ist. Öffi-Ticket gibts gratis an der Reception! Unser Design Doppelzimmer war klein aber sehr nett eingerichtet und sauber. Straßenseite war kein Problem da es hier nachts extrem ruhig ist. Frühstück einwandfrei, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mixed experience
This has not been our first stay at the Waldhorn. This time it was a mixed experience. The hotel overall is very comfortable, very clean with very nice bedlinen and towels.Breakfast outstanding with a rich buffet and delicious Birchermuesli. We had to ask to be put in a different room because of the shower facilities. The first room had a step over the bath shower which i then wasn't able to operate or it just didn't work. On top I was extremely nervous to fall because the floor of the bath was extremely slippery. For the following two nights we were put in a room with just a walk-in shower. That seems to be fine but the next morning I slipped in the shower and fell very badly, hitting my head, knees, arms suffering severe bruising. When i reported it to the manager first, I felt he didn't much care but his attitude changed and he was quite helpful in the end. I did however feel it was my problem to slip on a slippery floor. For this reason I feel I wouldn't come to this hotel again because I think the shower facilities are dangerous for elderly people. I feel very sorry but also annoyred as I waisted a whole day of a short holiday in bed recovering from a bad fall. The bruises are still showing, I could have broken a hip but mercifully I didn't.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel, sind sehr nett begrüßt worden, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, praktisch und ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist wunderbar, es fehlt an nichts, das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Jederzeit gerne wieder ein Aufenthalt dort.

Traveling by car so it was convenient to have onsite parking….. but a very unique way of parking. Rooms are quite small but comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Within a block of a bus stop which gets you to the heart of the Old City in less than 5 minutes - buses run very frequently

Net hotel. Kleine kamers, maar alles aanwezig. Douche is erg klein. Parkeren is een uitdaging met een grote auto. Je rijdt de auto in een soort lift (krap), die je naar de ondergrondse garage brengt. Bij drukte ook krap, maar je staat veilig. Ontbijt is netjes en verzorgd, zelfs glutenvrij. Hotel is op loopafstand van het centrum (15 min lopen), maar het hotel geeft je kaartjes om gratis gebruik te maken van het ov

The staff was super nice and welcoming. There is coffee and tea for free at the reception and I also got a water bottle for free in the room. The tram station is very close, but you can also walk to the center.

A bit too noisy due to lack of air-conditioning and thus necessity to keep the windows open during the night

Arrivée tardive, donc pas de contacts avec la réception. Ma clé était prête dans une boîte sécurisée, donc aucune encombre pour accéder à la chambre. La chambre en elle-même était plutôt petite mais suffisante pour une nuit. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet assez fourni, propreté parfaite, que ce soit dans les chambres ou dans les parties communes. Je recommande cette établissement

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Nicht ganz zentral, aber die Altstadt ist zu Fuß oder mit der Straßenbahn gut erreichbar. Sehr freundliches Personal. Nicht so schön ist der fensterlose Frühstücksraum im Keller.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Das Personal ist wirklich nett. Das Zimmer war sauber und man hat nichts von den anderen Gästen gehört. Nur die Zimmer sind etwas klein. Das Frühstück war okay (wir waren während Corina da und ich weiß nicht wie es normalerweise wäre)

Perfect place if arriving in Bern by car. Garage is under the hotel and price is reasonable. The breakfast was good and enjoyed the included tram pass, coffee and snacks in the lobby.

Excellent rapport qualité prix!!! Belle chambre, propre et hotel bien situé! Petit déjeuner très bon! Personnel très gentil!!! Nous avons adoré!
