”Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc.”

”Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. ”

”Very good customer service with personal welcome by licensee supported by a helpful and friendly team. Clean room and comfy bed - fan provided but thankfully quite a cool room. Varied supper menu, generous portions, all freshly cooked. Good cask beer and excellent choice of reasonably priced wines. Pleasant outdoor seating area. Small brightly coloured breakfast room with simple but hot, freshly cooked breakfast. Limited parking but next door forecourt available until 9am as well as church car...
