”This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but...

”My family (especially my 5 year old daughter) and I LOVED seashell cottage. Cromarty is a special place for us and the cottage was a wonderful and cozy place to stay while we were visiting. Wish we could have stayed longer!”

”The property seemed to be undergoing some renovations, which didn't feel like they were actively being worked at. Almost felt like time was standing still. Hallways smelled like filler materials, but the room itself was small and cosy. Unfortunately there was no hot water coming from the shower nor from the tap in the bathroom. TV did turn on, but the picture was glitching due to some cable/antenna interference or damage. Otherwise nothing more to complain about. Not too bad for the cheap price...

What a wonderful hotel, right on the river, quiet location, walkable lovely walk to the city centre along the river, spacious beautiful room, large ceiling windows that open, amazing food and buffet breakfast, welcoming and friendly staff that went above and beyond. Ness Walk needs to be rated 10/5. We enjoyed our stay so much we really did not want to leave. ”
