”Was more than I expected.”

”Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.”

”True castle atmosphere. There was a college prom going on the night we arrived which added to the fun. We enjoyed a meal in the dinning room. Excellent food and service. Room was a little stuffy but we were able to open a window. Would definitely stay again.”

”Stayed in room 103, lovely room nice and clean and well serviced, but noisy. Very noisy above the bar, had a private party on Saturday night until midnight, I could feel the bass no sleep I don't think the room should be let under the circumstances, anywhere on the first floor, also 103 is by the lift and exit door, so people walking and talking past the door all night, so my advice is if you'd like a peaceful night's sleep then avoid this room, a shame as I've stayed here before on the 2nd...
