”Amazing stay in a real castle! Staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable. We had a lovely meal at night, and the breakfast was included and delicious. After breakfast there was a tour of the castle. We learned so much about the castle and the area. Highly recommended. ”

”We travel to appleby castle as often as possibly we luv the company of sally and her staff. It will be a shame for the castle to be sold its so relaxing and the staff are down to earth which is what we like as a group. ”

”My family and I stayed here over Christmas for a couple of nights and we’re quite surprised with our stay, the house itself is lovely and the space was great for all the family to be together with our own rooms and the dogs loved it too, however I am disappointed to say the cleanliness of the manor was rather unsatisfactory. I would expect from any place you can book to stay for the rooms to be of a basic clean standard and I feel the manor wasn’t even slightly clean, there were dead bugs on...
