”Our room was in Birch Tower and was very nice, new, and clean. Beds were super comfortable and I liked the shower and bathroom. Room came with mini fridge and individual coffee maker. Nice that there was a coffee/pastry stand on the ground floor below us. The location was excellent and loved the art all around on 4th Street. Highly recommend staying here!”

”I take this with consideration it is in Reno which isn't the best place to begin with. Staff were great and customer service was on point but there was no pool as advertised. Our room had a hair brush shoved in the bedroom fan and they didn't even have my room ready well after check in time. They had to bring us a fridge and microwave after we were checked in and the whole place smelled old and wet. Carpet was wrinkled badly all throughout. Need major renovations but again the staff is great”

”Such a unique place to stay. Loved the vibe, loved the room. Decor is very cool and lots of thoughtful touches to make you feel welcome. Midtown is up and coming and it can be loud at night with the cruising and loud stereos but we were so relaxed in our room it didn’t bother us at all. We weren’t aware of the sauna until check out but the front office staff were kind enough to give us the code so we could check it out before we left. The sauna is an absolute vibe. ”Great clean, we enjoyed the stay. Lest like was the smoke smell in our room preferred non smoking room requested but elevator , hall and room smelled from smoke but was faint not too heavy. Enjoyed our stay staff was helpful”

”Been staying at the Whitney Peak Hotel for more than twenty years. It has gone downhill recently - probably related to the Hilton purchase. Some of the staff seem to be out-to-lunch. Asked for a restaurant recommendation and was directed to Denny's. Not OK. The Whitney Peak is still the only hotel in Reno I am aware of that does not have a casino and does not allow smoking. Still important to me. Room was clean. Bedframes appear to have been replaced with cheap junk. Headboards too. Very hard to...

”Decent breakfast. Great interior. I would recommend my friend to stay here and would be glad to revisit. One minor thing to improve is the sound insulation. The room next door kept opening and closing the door at midnight, and the motorcycle roaring at night, we all heard clearly and hard to sleep.”

”I called the front desk to ask for shower chair for my mom, she’s handicapped, they gave me a shower table for baby, it’s way too big in the tub, I called again, but the girl who’s very rude. I do not want to go back this hotel again, do not recommend it”

”The staff was absolutely amazing but I have to admit the room was a little, eh. I couldn't tell if it smelled like smoke or mold or both but it had a really bad odor to it. There was a stain on the chair in the room. Booked cause it is really close to the airport but ended up not sleeping in my room. And just going to catch my flight super early.”
