”Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls.
Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires.
In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. ”

”The lodge itself is lovely, it’s spacious and has so much potential but Cleanliness was a let down for us.
We arrived 30 minutes after the allotted check-in time to a property that hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor, beds not made and the floor was filthy. They arrived 10 minutes after us to clean the property which was done in about half hour, if that - so to us it didn’t feel clean enough and left us slightly unsettled for the rest of our stay, we still spotted clumps of hair and...
