”This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.”

”Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. ”

”Excellent hotel in the centre of brecon. While the free parking was often full the nearby paid car parks were very reasonable (4 gbp) . Lovely hosts and delicious breakfasts. ”

”My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts. ”

”Excellent for the price. Full breakfast included. Pool and hot tub included. Free parking. It was very clean but a little worn around the edges and closer to the road than I would have thought but overall I'd definitely come back. Hot tub was great after hiking all day. Area is exceptionally beautiful. We liked the small town of Llandovery if you're looking for a cute place to eat. Staff was lovely. Bar and restaurant on site.”

”Nice clean large room. The fridge was a big bonus. Excellent shower which was much appreciated after a long day walking.
We were led to believe from the hotel.com web site that there is Wifi only in public areas but in fact there was wifi all over the the guest house including the rooms. And it was super fast wifi. I was able watched Netflix on my ipad and all the football matches I wanted to watch.
Moyra (the owner), is a lovely friendly lady, as her staff. Breakfast was fabulous,...

”Everything about our stay was positive. Everything about the food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional in the evening and at breakfast. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean, fresh and comfortable. It was a perfectly relaxing night away. ”
