”This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.”

”Thank you for our lovely stay. We just came back from our 2nights stay and the place is absolutely stunning and would highly recommend. Rooms perfect with en suite and views when sat outside were amazing. Loved watching the red kites . Central to all walking spots and hosts were friendly and nothing wasnt too much trouble for them. ”

”Lovely grounds, lovely upstairs suite, excellent breakfast, great pool area, hot tub not as hot as expected. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay again. Suggest you indicate in advance if you have mobility issues, as we loved being upstairs but did not know in advance.”

”My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts. ”

”Nice clean large room. The fridge was a big bonus. Excellent shower which was much appreciated after a long day walking.
We were led to believe from the hotel.com web site that there is Wifi only in public areas but in fact there was wifi all over the the guest house including the rooms. And it was super fast wifi. I was able watched Netflix on my ipad and all the football matches I wanted to watch.
Moyra (the owner), is a lovely friendly lady, as her staff. Breakfast was fabulous,...

”Everything about our stay was positive. Everything about the food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional in the evening and at breakfast. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean, fresh and comfortable. It was a perfectly relaxing night away. ”

”It was a lovely stay, just one night before a day at bike park wales.
I was told to leave the bike in the hall way and it was fine there.
Parking was tight with a bike rack on so i dropped it to get the car over as far as i could.
The room was beautifully decorated, bed comfy, shower amazing and the whole place was quiet. ”

”Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix
But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio.”
