”We arrived by train and the hotel is any easy 10 minute walk from the station and then just under 10 minutes to the town centre. The hotel was lovely. I cannot think of anything to be negative about. The room was quiet, the bed comfy and I loved the decor. (We were in a 'clocks' room.) All the staff were pleasant and helpful and there is both a restaurant and bar food. The food in both was very good and slightly unusual. Chester itself is a great place to visit and it is easy to go into...

”Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again. ”

”The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. We had a 3rd floor room which overlooked the canal. It was very nice, with comfy beds and some original, industrial features. The only negative was the bathroom. It had a bath, which we never use, and a shower over it. The water pressure was poor, the shower kept running cold. The bathroom definitely needed an upgrade, a walk in shower would have really made a difference. The spa area was nice, the pool was a good...

”Room was great for four of us after a day at the zoo and before a city visit the next day. Good walkable location. A small issue getting access but sorted by the host on the phone. Beware: there is NO parking at the property- I booked as it was a highlighted feature but there is no parking here. We were given advice by the host to park across the road in the Delamere car park which was fine (£9.50- arrived 8pm left next day at 2pm) but just an error on Expedia. Found the room quiet and warm....
