”The room was very clean and modern. However there was no way to open the window and we couldn’t switch the aircon off completely so only had 2.5 hours of sleep due to noise. Felt like we were locked into a synthetic prison”

”A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

”The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer.
Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.”

”Sam, the general manager greeted us warmly on arrival, was very helpful, friendly and professional.
Our courtyard room was clean and comfortable with a garden table just outside the door.
Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Dinner and breakfast were both plentiful and delicious.
Highly recommended for a stay in the Mendips with dogs.”

”Fantastic spot. The rooms are modern, clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Felt like a modern hotel and not a classic inn.
Staff seemed a little grumpy, maybe the heat!
Rooms have AC which was great.
They offer Bristol airport parking fee and you can taxi to the airport so it's a great spot if you're flying in and out of Bristol.
We used it as a halfway point from Cornwall to midlands. Just 7 mins to cheddar gorge.
Highly recommend.”

”A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained.
My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking.
There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking.
Other than that I would recommend. ”
