”Excellent position in centre of town with free parking. Good size room and friendly staff. Sunday Roast meal was very good despite us arriving near end of serving time. Breakfast adequate and enjoyed. Only problem was the lumpy pillows which were uncomfortable and so didn’t sleep very well.”

”The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with great views, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what guests expect and they deliver with ease, the rooms are unique and comfortable which complement the amazing views The car park is ample and safe for hotel guests and for restaurant diners our continental breakfast was great and accompanied by a barista coffee, well worth the visit and looking forward to visiting again ”

”Very nice place and great staff,room was perfect and bath and shower were excellent.the only thing I would recommend is a mattress topper as the mattress was a bit lumpy.”

”Room was eh, very noisy and zero air flow. Smelled very moldy and my nose is stuffed up after in night. Decided to eat local at the restaurant and was a disaster. €60 for two people and was the worst risotto, basically eating straight pepper seasoning, my GF had a burger and was so spicy she was sweating. Then had to wait nearly an hour to get a desert, that tasted very off, like expired tasting. To top it off, not really a reception, so you have to go to the bar, and wait like you are...

”I wouldn’t really say I’m a fussy person, I can put up with a lot and I’m quite resilient but my ‘stay’ at The Jersey Arms hotel was a very good way to force some impromptu character development and really make me contemplate a lot of my life choices. Being honest the receptionist was a sweetheart and did the best that they could, but the hotel was a different story entirely. From the moment I walked into my room the very strong potent smell of damp and mould hit me like a wall, before realising...
