”Great stay”

”Unfortunately we were unable to stay at the Longship. We arrived after our concert to a closed pub. In the write up it states check in after 2pm with no end time, it also states to communicate with the property for late check in to arrange access no one responded. Please change the wording in the advert to explain better checking in only in pub hours.”

” Stayed 31 Oct–1 Nov 2025 at Any One Apartments (booked via Hotels.com). The experience was disappointing from arrival: waited ~15 minutes outside due to lack of staff support and found access confusing with multiple locks. The listing was misleading—what I expected to be a self-contained apartment had key facilities (sofas/TV) in a communal area, and the room itself was very small. The shower was lukewarm and the holder broken, so it had to be handheld. The bed was too small for a 6-ft adult....

”Always one of our favourites. Staff are always amazing, restaurant and bar are beautifully done and the rooms are so individual to other hotels, they have personality and you feel fully relaxed.”

”Pros - helpful and friendly check in, great tea tray, big tv and massive choice of channels, comfy big bed, fan already in the room. Cons - limited parking (4 spots) on first come first served basis, located in student area so lots of activity but depending on your age that might be a Pro (lol)”

”Based on my experience on last stay at Holiday Inn Jesmond I booked it also for my trip. The hotel is within short walk from the Metro so it was easy to come from the airport and also easy to head to the University. Stay at the hotel was good. The friendly staff helped me with adapter issues. ”

”A very enjoyable stay in a boutique hotel, where the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were all different, with each offering individual benefits. We were slightly concerned that the restaurant was not open on our first night, but we were able to get food from other areas, so not a problem overall.”
