”Excellent quality hotel and staff very attentive. Made to feel very welcome and nothing a problem. Bed a little too firm for our liking but great room. Breakfast a little space for value but cooked lovely. ”

”A lovely hotel and nice staff. Good location, not precisely in the heart of the city but very close. The general feeling was relaxed. The room was great and we only had positive things to say about the room and the tidiness of the hotel in general, but I must say that the breakfast could've been slightly better. That's the only thing that prevented me from giving a 5-star rating. Looking forward to my next visit anyway (hopefully with even better breakfast).”

”Wheelchairs not really well catered for. No self opening doors, access to dining outside was round the building via the car park. Menu very restrictive and over priced. Very average hotel for the money”

”Worst hotel ever in Europe. And yes, in this case I include Russia in Europe. Room stank like years of smoking, bathroom like piss. Piss stains on the toilet seat, whole rainbow of different coloured stains on all of the towels and bedding. Noisy and a spot light pointing at the window. Arrogant and unhelpful older woman at the reception (this one was definetly no lady). Avoid if you're travelling alone, can't say anything about the bigger rooms, but assume the worst.”

”Based on my experience on last stay at Holiday Inn Jesmond I booked it also for my trip. The hotel is within short walk from the Metro so it was easy to come from the airport and also easy to head to the University. Stay at the hotel was good. The friendly staff helped me with adapter issues. ”
