”A lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings, offering cosy, comfortable rooms that make for a relaxing stay. There are several pubs nearby, and it’s easy to reach York city centre by bus, or by a scenic 40-minute walk. A great balance of peace and convenience — I’ll definitely be returning.”

”Everything was perfect. Except no plug in the sink and the water was very hot. So not able to mix water. Also not informed it was self check in till I got there . Easy once explained though ”

”The staff were very welckming on reception.and in the dinng area but however i found there was too much noise going on while we were here not sure what was going on it appeared to be some renovation work but it kept us awake for 2 out of 3 nights also it was very hot for sleeping breakfast was very good didnt disappoint and staff were great ”

”Un soggiorno semplicemente meraviglioso. Dal momento in cui si entra si respira storia, calore e autenticità: un luogo davvero speciale. La struttura è dotata di un fantastico pub interno, con un’ottima selezione di birre, e di una sala biliardo perfetta per rilassarsi e trascorrere piacevolmente il tempo libero. Un valore aggiunto che rende il soggiorno ancora più unico. La colazione è stata eccezionale, preparata al momento direttamente dal proprietario: uova incredibili, talmente buone che…...

”Room was perfect, clean and spacious. Kitchen well appointed. Nice modern reception area and complementary coffee and croissants very welcome. Good location very close to York city centre.”

”Room was pretty cold (17 C) but heating unit helped a bit. Room was a little dirty but it was ok. Parking possibility for 10 GBP/night. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. Pretty old building - brought nice vintage feel but ventilation lacking. Friendly staff!”

”The welcome from the the Receptionist was excellent ensured we had a suitable room to meet our needs. Hotel room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The room was heated individually, controlled in the room. Breakfast was excellent lots of hot and cold choices. Highly recommend especially due to the onsite parking which is a bonus in York. All the staff are very polite and friendly.”
