”Very clean. Quiet. Staff was friendly and responsive when we had a problem with television reception. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices of hot food and cold cereals and breads/bagels/english muffins. Ample free parking. Very convenient to Berkeley restaurants and shopping and to the freeways. Just a mile away is the Marina with walking trails next to the Bay in the park. Beautiful. Only 1/2 hour into SF across the Bay Bridge.”

Since located in downtown Oakland it can get quite busy in surroundings, though 11th street is somewhat calm area. My room windows were on the street side and it was pretty noisy during nights. If you wear ear plugs it is no big deal. I stayed 10 nights and my room wasn't cleaned for once. Breakfast is okay. Nothing fancy but you get what you need to start your day. I probably wouldn't stay here...
