”Liked everything! Really nice location, Conic Hill and loch boat tour etc easily available. Very friendly service and room lacked only more wall hooks for towels, other than that perfect.”

”Take an umberella for the walk from the hotel to the resturant as there is no cover outdoors. There is no air con in the rooms had the leave the patio door open during the night.”

”Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer: Great breakfast and a large room with comfortable bed, big bathtub/ shower with separate toilet. Staff was super friendly and helpful.”

”The hotel was super as usual. The menu in the restaurant however was limited. I would have liked to see a cold option in this heat wave. I did have to phone down to reception at 01:30 due to a party going on in a room next door. It was however dealt with swiftly and this was outwith the hotels control. Room was clean, good selection of tea's in the room with nice biscuits and hot chocolate too. Staff were professional and helpful.”

”The room was very clean and the property gorgeous. Windows in the room opened, which was necessary as there is not central air and the weather was warm. Owners were so friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and the views were spectacular.”

”we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...

”Charming historic hotel which has very recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The team at the hotel are very friendly and professional and the food is excellent. There are lots of walks around the hotel in the grounds and the lovely town of Callander on the doorstep. Is dog friendly too and highly recommend / also has a link to the Beatles and has a Beatles inspired bistro which is lovely.”
